With over 35 years of experience in abnormal load transportation, CTS East operates one of South Africa’s largest and most specialised fleets. We move a wide range of abnormal loads including mining equipment, construction machinery, structural steel fabrications, and other heavy and sensitive cargo across South Africa and neighbouring countries.
Our fleet includes over 100 truck-tractors, ranging from low-weight 6x2 units to ultra-heavy 6x4, 8x4, and 8x6 haulers, supported by a wide variety of trailers in multiple configurations. This flexibility allows us to handle everything from mining machinery and construction equipment to aircraft components and other sensitive abnormal loads.

CTS East employs a team of over 100 staff, including professional drivers, driver's assistants, escort drivers, workshop and yard assistants, as well as experienced operations and management personnel. Our Managing Director, Trevor Rawlings, with over 45 years in the industry, is actively involved in supervising the transport of sensitive or oversized loads to ensure safety and client satisfaction.
We transport abnormal loads throughout South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. Our fleet and expertise primarily serve the mining, construction, plant hire, energy utility, crane hire, and crushing and screening industries.
